Another excellent Spanish restaurant under Pirata Group! Headed by Chef Víctor Caballé Molina, who is also the executive chef at The Optimist, Calle Ocho is an inviting Spanish tapas restaurant in Causeway Bay. Guest can enjoy hearty Spanish food and drinks in this two-storey restaurant with an Iberian ambience.

Would definitely recommend the [ El Jefe tasting menu ($388pp) ]. We could sit back and relax as chefs had us covered! They curated a selection of most popular dishes to be served to our table and we got to try as many as 10 dishes! What a steal!
We particularly enjoyed the Marisco paella, Gambas al ajillo, Wagyu beef cheek and the Pan con tomate!

Pirata Group的新成員(其實也新了滿久⋯🤣 只是我才第一次到訪!
Pirata的出品總不會讓人失望~無論是環境、食物,還是服務都做得一絲不苟
同座朋友還說,雖然這晚超級繁忙,但店員都總是能量滿滿、面帶笑容地服務客人的呢😆,超級加分!
我們這晚交由廚師發辦,點了「嚐味菜單」,包括了眾多餐廳招牌的tapas、海鮮、肉類、西班牙飯等,最後還有兩道甜點,超級滿足! -
《Calle Ocho》字面意思為Street 8th,取地址「加寧街八號」的意思
從室外的藍白相間磁磚門面、到室內的雅緻設計,處處都洋溢著西班牙伊比利亞風格
設有兩層用餐區,景觀開揚;上層還有數間包廂,讓食客可以享受具隱私度的用餐時光 -

菜式包羅萬有,一定可以滿足到喜歡西班牙菜的朋友!只需要跟店員說明飲食禁忌就可以啦~
從小吃、海鮮、肉類、西班牙飯,到甜點,足足有十道菜,每道都好合口味呢😝

• Pan con tomate 西班牙番茄多士
• Croquetas - Iberico ham 西班牙炸丸子 - 西班牙火腿
• Pimentos del padrón 酥炸西班牙小辣椒
• Patatas bravas 炸薯粒配辣沙律醬
〔番茄多士〕麵包烤得好香脆,配上番茄蓉、西班牙火腿、初榨橄欖油,純粹的美味
〔Croquettes〕是西班牙地道的小吃~餐廳提供三款口味,餐廳安排了我們嚐西班牙火腿口味。薯蓉丸子外脆內軟,配上蒜蓉蛋黃醬跟西班牙火腿的鹹香~
〔Padron peppers〕也是地道的小吃呢~配上Maldon海鹽好好吃
〔炸薯粒〕配上辣番茄醬跟蒜蓉蛋黃醬,好惹味~
總括而言是很豐富的西班牙雜錦小吃~🇪🇸

香蒜欖油大蝦
這道有同集團餐廳The Optimist的感覺耶,同樣滋味!
也難怪,因為兩間餐廳都由Chef Victor Caballé Molina所主理~
蝦肉爽口彈牙,蝦頭有豐富蝦膏,鮮味濃郁
香蒜欖油醬汁內配搭蒜頭、辣椒,超惹味,用法包蘸著同吃,好滋味! .
Pan-fried sea bass
香煎鱸魚配蘆筍及焗薯
鱸魚外皮煎的香脆,而肉質保留著滑嫩口感
這盤的配菜有焗薯 (對又是薯仔... 好飽🤣)、蘆筍改成了brocollini,本來會配搭Citrus Romesco sauce (烤紅椒堅果醬),但由於堅果敏感,就沒有給了;如果可以on side上就好啦,沒敏感的朋友也可以嚐~ •

鍋邊略有飯焦;店員還主動來替我們拌勻這盤飯,避免飯燒得太焦~ •

〔Candela曼徹格羊奶芝士蛋糕〕,味道濃郁、口感細膩,有點Basque cheesecake的感覺;加上了熱情果醬,加點清新、平衡膩度;還有
〔巧克力慕絲配椰子泡沫〕,巧克力味道香濃、口感順滑,跟椰子泡沫滿配,另外表面加入脆華夫餅,口感豐富~
