Took my mum to Shelter for her birthday. I randomly decided to go to Shelter (ok, I lie - a good friend of mine works here..wink wink) and found it was an excellent choice.. Now on to the food, we ordered 4 dishes.. The food here doesn't arrive all at the same time. Rather, they wait for you to finish each dish before serving you the next one (concept of taking your time / fine dining-ish?) Staff were friendly and polite.

Overall, i really enjoyed this place. Btw, it is not cheap.. For the 4 dishes we ordered (not including drinks), everything came down to nearly $1000. It was worth it though especially if you are looking for a nice, comfy place with great interior (er.. exterior) design.

I must say (again) the decoration is great.. I regret not getting into one of the 'pods' they have here. Looks so cosy (although I must admit the view wouldn't be amazing as it's CWB - there's nothing great to see except old buildings unfortunately). I will come here next time for drinks
