Here’s what we had.
Bread basket. Crispy crust with warm moist interior, served with olive oil.
Beef tartare- arguably still one of the best in HK, with the impeccably seasoned and finely chopped beef boasting a rich, savory flavor that was beautifully complemented by the dressing on top, which tasted like a refined version of “thousand island”.
Fresh spinach leaves with crunchy walnuts and the milky and nutty shavings of Spanish Manchego cheese. A delightful mix of flavors and textures.
Mains came after a LONG wait.
Hanging tender steak. Asked for medium; came splendidly cooked- juicy and tender, perfectly paired with crispy French fries. The addition of black truffle butter sauce on the side elevated the dish, with the hint of mustard and shallots adding a rich, savory depth.
Cheese Burger- juicy and packed with flavor; held together by the perfectly toasted bun.
Spicy beef barbecue.
Good Coffee
In summary: true celebration of quality beef and fresh ingredients deserving of the one star ⭐️, but prob not for those who are eager to get back to the office.
