This review is long overdue since I've been a regular guest at Cenacolo for many years. I never get disappointed. the ambience is very comfortable and romantic you definitely need to make reservations ahead of time.I typically start with a bottle of their red wine and they have a variety of selections, one of my favourite is the Malbec. I typically start with a bottle of their red wine and they have a variety of selections, one of my favourite is the Malbec. Then we would have starters such as bruschetta which is always on some very fresh bread with tomato and basil. Next I would recommend the carpaccio i think they do a pretty good job we order it everytime. We have tried a variety of different pastas and my favourite is the Penne Puttanesca. The tomato sauce is very tasty and creamy but not heavy at all. It is my all time favourite dish and I order it everytime I come here. Next I would also recommend the 4 cheese tagliatelle. This is very very cheesy so if you don't like a heavy pasta probably not for you but I am a huge cheese fan and we order this dish to share.
The spinich salad is also very nice as its very fresh and crisp. I don't typically order oysters here but my friends do say that its also very fresh and they've got a decent selection.
For mains, i typically stick to baby lamb chop which is always cooked tender and juicy, they have a rosemary marinade then pan roasted. SO GOOD.
All in all a very recommendable place that myself and family/friends continue to enjoy!
