Tanyoto is known for their hotpot, but funnily enough I have never had hotpot here. Rather I frequent it more for its daily yum cha.Prices are very reasonable, and the food quality is remarkable. Their steamed char siu baos are my absolute favourite. A soft and fluffy white bun encasing a saucy filling of succulent char siu pieces. Really good ~The steamed Malay cake is also really good. Soft and fluffy, perfectly risen with a light caramel flavour. No heavy/oily aftertaste at all.Red chilli oil

The steamed Malay cake is also really good. Soft and fluffy, perfectly risen with a light caramel flavour. No heavy/oily aftertaste at all.
Red chilli oil wontons. A petite serve of 4 tiny wontons, but the skin is slippery smooth with a slight chewy texture and the pork filling is juicy enough. The accompanying chilli oil is extremely fragrant with the perfect amount of heat.
Century egg and pork congee. Simple and comforting.
Highly recommend their dim sims!
