Went to Taste at around 9pm, many of the bakeries were at a discount price, which attracted me to buy a box of Chinese sweetheart cake(老婆餅)!!When I got back home, I ate one of it. The pastry outside had a lots of layers, it was not like the normal western pastry ,which is usually crispy, it was like layers of flavours which was just like every single type of Chinese pastry that gave a soft texture.DInside the soft cake ,there was some sort of sweet sticky layer which was made with winter melon,

D Inside the soft cake ,there was some sort of sweet sticky layer which was made with winter melon, almond paste, and sesame. It was not too sweet, it combined with the flaky skin very well and did produce a nice taste!!
