😻 This was a LOT more filling than I expected, which I actually really appreciated! The slice was also incredibly generous, especially considering the price.
Although it was VERY oily (you can literally see how soaked the paper is on the photo 🤡) it is a great snack!

🤩 So good. This was very light and had a really lovely texture - almost gelatinous (but not in an annoying jelly way)? More like... it broke off nicely, wasn’t crumbly, wasn’t chewy either. Amazing.
Not oily whatsoever - felt like a great and healthy snack 😚

😽 I feel like the filling in these buns is never too generous, or am I just unlucky?
When I first bit into the bun, I got a pleasant whiff of charcoaly/ BBQ smell :0
This seems like a very classic snack to me, one you can’t really go wrong with? You know what you’re getting when you buy it.
Despite being mostly bread, it was actually not heavy at all, easy to eat, and not oily either!
⭐️ Rating 6.9/10 (lost 0.1 cause of filling ratio!

I’ve also already made a review on this place (my first ever post!) - I’ve grown to love Po Lin Yuen a lot now, I will certainly be coming back as the food here is amazing, cheap, PLUS it’s awfully convenient for me (very close to my uni and dorm!!
