This new restaurant is located in the new mall in Wanchai - Hopewell Mall (2nd phase of Hopewell Centre). It is easy to access there by bus or MTR, just 5mins walk from Exit A3 at Wan Chai MTR station. Or if you drive, there is free parking for a centain spending. Ambience is excellent with many colorful flowers as decoration. They have big windows and it‘s better to get a window seat too. Service is good and the food quality is not bad. I like the hanger steak, ginger fried pork and the crab meat risotto. They are so delicious especially the risotto, the tast & the fragrance is so special. My friend said they may use the kombu/kelp as soup base to cook the risotto. The Seiko sandwich is not that impressive. Coffee & desserts are good too…. Overall, it is a good place for chitchat with friends for lunch or dinner. Price performance is good. They do charge for corkage & cake cutting if you bring your own but it’s minimal, only HK$50. The restroom is clean outside the restaurant in the mall. Also, the mall has lift from ground floor, so wheelchair is also not a problem. We just try the lunch menu there and the lunch set costs only $168 which include salad, main dish and a drink. If you choose the beef dishes like the steak, additional charge will be added. All portions are reasonable in size… so to me it‘s a good deal in this ambience. According to my friend, this restaurant is very famous in Japan and now it is new in Hong Kong and in this new mall - Hopewell Mall. If you still haven’t been to this new mall, it‘s good to take a trip there to walk around. There are many new shops and restaurants!
