Back to this childhood Chinese dessert place for a round up of my evening. Surprisingly crowded that it took around 5-10mins wait for a table of four.

I ordered their red bean tofu pudding while rest of my friends ordered chestnut taro related dessert soup (tapioca pudding, tangyuan and tofu pudding).

Red bean tofu pudding was light and soft. So nice to clear my palate. Tofu pudding was silky smooth with a hint of soy flavour. Whole red bean was soft and half mushed. Kept its texture and full of red bean flavour. Sweetness was balanced well.

Chestnut taro desserts (unfortunately I forgot to take pictures) were hearty. Velvety chestnut paste mix well with taro. Even sounds starchy, it wasn't as heavy as we thought it would be. Not heavily sweet. Tapioca kept its chew, tangyuan was pretty big with sweetened light toasted black sesame. Both cooked just right. Yummy and unique.

As always, love their traditional signature dessert soup. Keep it up!
