A small cosy place with a limited seating, lunchtime is pretty busy so try getting there before 12:30, and then you have a better chance of getting a seat, otherwise book in advance. Factor in a slightly longer serving time when you visit this place, it is small after all.The menu changes, so I guess it is never boring. For lunch you choose a main and then you get a salad, soup and bread as a starter, as well as a drink of tea or coffee to round the meal off. This place is pretty consistent in it

This place is pretty consistent in its efforts, and its presentation never fails. The staff are well mannered, although at times a little rushed off their feet so don't be surprised if they forget to deliver your tea and coffee. The minestrone soup is quite rich in flavour, but there is definitely a homemade feel. Looking for something light this dish was a good choice. The roasted India Silver Pomret with pineapple and papaya salad, was served on a bed of vegetables and a vinaigrette dressing. It looked very pleasing to the eye. The fish was cooked well, with the flesh still holding moisture. The salsa like salad went well with the fish, although it would have been even better if it more tangy. A good dish although lacking in a wow factor. The seafood pizza with tomato, oregano and mozzarella cheese was a good size for a light eater. As for the seafood used on the pizza it was mainly squid. The topping had a good balance of flavours with none of the ingredients being to overwhelming. The base was thin and crispy a little bit different from your normal pizza base, its texture seemed a bit like filo pastry but a bit tougher and not as flaky, although not unpleasant it needed a little more for the bite. It was also a little too oily, with that saying, my companion was happy with this dish and found it quite satisfying.
A consistently good performer this place is worth a visit.
