Here we are, extending the addiction to the very popular Korean drama "My Love from the Star", wanted fried chicken to go with ice cold beer for brunch. We arrived at 3pm sharp, when the restaurant is supposed to be opening at, it wasn't opened until 10 minutes later. The decor is simple - fast food style, and has an orange scheme. I spotted some Korean words written on one of the walls indicating that they only use 100% vegetable oil for deep frying. Hm, sounds "healthy".

The menu is, naturally, fried chicken focused. They have 5 kinds to offer including the original, hot spicy, grillfried, sweet chili and garlic soya sauce. On the side, they also serve salads, Korean rice cakes, noodles, soup and pancakes.

We ordered the original fried Chicken which also comes with Korean chips with a choice of 3 flavours (onion cream, spicy, cheese), and a bottle of Hite beer for sharing.

Waiting time for the food was not long, took about 15 minutes. The basket came with about 12 pieces of chicken, including 2 legs and 2 wings (not bad!) and a bunch of Korean potato spiral chips (a kind of street food one can find in Myeongdong).
Chicken - deep fried in a light batter, slightly spiced. Alongside, 2 dipping sauces ie sweet chilli and garlic soya sauce and a dish of pickled turnip were given. Meat was tender, even the breast pieces were so. However, it's nothing compared to what you could find in Korea which tastes more succulent and chickeny - I supposed it has to do with the source of the poultry.

Chips - absolutely too greasy and flaccid.
Servicewise - not much you could expect from a fast food restaurant but the Korean lady server had tried her best.
