It was packed with diners even at 1600, lucky that we did make reservation earlier🤓 We were assigned to a table close to the floor-to-ceiling windows. Sun was shining bright outside, sunlight reflected from sea waves made glitters. Very breathtaking view, good spot for taking pics! Once seated, staff passed us a QR code for online ordering, very efficient! We ordered a ohayo melting cheese angus beef burger and chocolate mochi waffle to share. For drinks, we picked iced latte and iced caramel latte.
The drinks and waffle came very quick, within 5 minutes after order placed. Iced latte had nothing special, just taste like those you could get from coffee chain stores, not sweet and on a bitter side. Chocolate mochi waffle was freshly made, served hot with a scoop of chocolate ice cream, some almond flakes, strawberry slices and chocolate chunks. Icing sugar was sprinkled on top with some chocolate sauce drizzled. Portion was big, 4 large pieces could definitely fill you up. Waffles had a crisp outer texture and a soft tender interior. Mochi added extra chewiness to it, yummy!😋
After eating a piece of waffle, I moved on to try the burger. Burger sandwiched beef patty, lettuce, cheddar cheese and tomato. Overall the burger was dry, patty wasn't juicy and taste bland. Not heavy at all, cheese melting onto the plate might look evil but it actually tasted quite healthy and refreshing especially with large amount of lettuce sandwiched🥬 We quickly KO the burger and ate the remaining waffle as dessert. Ice cream was all melted making the waffle very soggy. Waffle turned cold and became hard like rock😫 Couldn't stand its texture so we ended up giving up. Should've finished it in one go before having the burger, what a waste😮💨
All in all, this cafe has perfect environment with nice sea view, staff are friendly and food quality is average. A good place to go if you want to spend a chill afternoon with friends / family👌🏻
