Spotted this coffee shop when I was in Sweetpea (opposite to Fast Gourmet), with a cute little outdoor sitting area and pretty floral decoration. I decided to give it a try, and it didn't disappoint me.I was hoping to get a Lava Croissant with lobster soup, but it wasn't available, so I ordered this one with salted caramel espresso. I was hoping to get a Lava Croissant with lobster soup, but it wasn't available, so I ordered this one with salted caramel espresso. It was a bit messy to eat the lava croissant with knife and fork, when you cut it open, the lava just rushed out of the croissant to the plate. So I ended up "wiping" the croissant on the plate to soak up the lava. Regardless, the croissant was delicious and made a good brunch. The icing powder on top tasted like espresso, and the salted caramel espresso cream inside was enjoyable.
As for the Return Black, it is the house signature black sesame soy milk drink. It has a nice strong taste and aroma of black sesame. One complain is that it's not a caffeinated drink, not their fault.
I guess I will just have to visit again for the lobster soup croissant and other amazing looking coffee.
