The way the restaurant is set up, we ordered our food at the cashier first, and then, our food was delivered to our table. My brother and I each ordered a Single D and a fries to share. This burger joint is quite small, and there were only a few tables available, but since we went in the late afternoon on a weekday, the place was basically empty. We sat at a table directly across from the kitchen. With the bar seating, it was a little uncomfortable with the table stools and tables.
Before Double D was opened, their advertising was very gimmicky, alluding to something similar to a Hooters, but this was nothing like a Hooters. The restaurant didn't have anything that really popped out in their decor other than the vast display of hot sauces along the wall. I liked that they offered the condiments station, so I could make my concoction of ketchup and mayo dipping sauce for my fries.
For a burger joint in Central, it did take a while for my burger to be ready.

The fries were pretty good. They had the right amount crunch on the outside and mush on the inside.
Overall, Double D Burger is pretty average. With so many burger joints in town, Double D doesn't give me a rush to go back anytime soon.
