The pork chop vermicelli was up to par as the southeast Asian standard. However, I do prefer when this dish is with pork neck rather than a chop. there's something about the fatty texture of the neck that makes it a superior accompaniment to the vermicelli and the vinegar sauce. Also, from a value perspective, compared to the laksa, this one seemed a bit light on the protein. The laksa had 2 large prawns, half an egg, 2 fish balls, and a crab stick (there might have been even more in there) while the cold vermicelli had only a modest sized pork chop on top.

My mom got the satay dish and she enjoyed it, but I didn't try it so can't really comment.
