This is decent vietnamese food in a pinch.  I am in love with the cavernous feel of the restaurant.  It's tiny eating area makes for great opportunity to lunch with strangers.  I like the forced awkward moments but alas, most HK people feel the need to stare at their phones making awkward moments a thing of the past.Stick to ordering their most popular dishes so you do not set yourself up for disappointment.  This restaurant is solely set up to serve the lunch time office worker bunch.  My meal

This is decent vietnamese food in a pinch.  I am in love with the cavernous feel of the restaurant.  It's tiny eating area makes for great opportunity to lunch with strangers.  I like the forced awkward moments but alas, most HK people feel the need to stare at their phones making awkward moments a thing of the past.

Stick to ordering their most popular dishes so you do not set yourself up for disappointment.  This restaurant is solely set up to serve the lunch time office worker bunch.  My meal came with red rice which is not brown rice but rather white rice stir fried in tomato sauce.  I could not detect the stir fried bits as my rice was cold, obviously sitting in a refrigerator.  The meat sauce was cold and warming up from its congealed state.  I would imagine most of the food is ready made prior to the rush so they can get it out quick.  I hope my lunch was a one-off where it sat too long waiting for the waiter to bring it over.

This is a good quick eats joint if you work at the Centre.  It's the other ally of fine dining after Gilman's Bazaar.  My meal was $55.  As with all openrice reviews, it is always my birthday.  Friday afternoon birthday meal consists of cold nam food.  Second time at this place and there will be a third.
