Met boyfriend in this area for a hike and decided to grab lunch before heading on. Time For Break was nearby and boyfriend mentioned he had eaten here before and thought it was ok.It was pretty busy and we were told to pre-order before they gave us a table.Menu is in English and Chinese. I had the baked fish of sole with herbs tomato sauce ($68). I chose to have it with pasta. I guess I was expecting it the fish to be breaded but it wasn't. Instead it was coated with a layer of egg and so it wasn't crispy. Just very soft. It tasted ok but it wasn't great. The tomato sauce didn't have much herb taste either. Just regular tomato sauce. The pasta was soft as well.
Boyfriend had the pan fried chicken steak with red wine gravy ($58). He opted for mashed potato. The mashed potato was not creamy enough and was under seasoned. The gravy was ok but not felt more like a regular black pepper sauce. The chicken meat was moist and tender.
Over all, the place was ok. Not great but ok. I guess a good place to eat just to move on to the next. Definitely not a place to really go out of your way for. Food also takes a long time despite we were told to pre-order before we sat down. Don't think I'd be back.
