Mango Mania. Originally from Thailand, this is their version of our popular Hui Lau Shan (which sadly went bankrupt). It's not a very big shop and it share the space with the Thai restaurant next door. It was afternoon tea time and there were a number of people that lived nearby having a mango dessert.

Menu in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge and you pay on your way out. The menu had photos of all the food served. And they had quite a variety of mango desserts and drinks.

We decide to share a dessert and chose the  Mango Bingsu ($70). Not too big but enough to share. There were huge chunks of mango encircling the entire mound of shaved ice.  The mango was extremely sweet. On top was a scoop of smooth mango ice cream.  There was condensed milk and mango syrup to add to it and a scoop of mango sticky rice that had a nice coconutty flavor.

The shaved ice was so fluffy and soft. I haven't come across one so finely shaved in Hong Kong. It was also flavored with condensed milk throughout so you didn't feel like you were eating bland ice like a few places in Hong Kong. It also didn't melt very fast as well. One of the best bingsu I've had in Hong Kong.

Before taking off, I wanted a drink for the road. I ordered a Mango Mania ($33). It was a thick and smooth mango smothie. It tasted just like pulverized mango. There wasn't shards of ice to be found.  Everything was well blended. I even had chunks of mango to chew on as well.

Definitely a place for mango fans. The desserts were great. No skimping on the mango content. I would defintely back for a drink to go next time as well.
