Books & Co. is no secret to HKU students. This tucked away cafe is no doubt a hidden treasure to any booklovers though. Coffee culture in this land of plenty is, unfortunately, not that flourished.. given that our space-strapped city's startling rent is not improving anytime soon. I had always dreamt of going to a cafe where you can drop by empty-handed and feel free to pick up a book to read from there. The first time I went to a cafe with such concept was outside HK. Books & Co. is no secret to HKU students. So it was a really delightful surprise when I bumped into this cafe after work today.

The staff there was very warming and spirited.
I tried their latte and cheesecake. They tasted pretty satisfying. The cheesecake wasn't too rich so.. good news for the weight-conscious ladies maybe? I believe the cafe's relaxing ambience is more of its forte. This forte stands alone is enough for me. The city got a handful of artisanal coffee shops.. but for spots that are less jampacked with people like this.. It's so hard to find. Whenever I feel like I wanna relax and unwind for a bit, I would defo revisit my secret garden again.
