On a dreadfully rainy day in Sheung Wan I was meeting with some friends for lunch and felt overwhelmingly that I needed dumpling noodle soup! I had been itching to give this place a try since I first found it and I am oh so happy that I finally did! The menu is bilingual and extensive. Noodles with Pork mince in spicy sauce - This was a spicy soup noodle with mince and what appeared to be shallots! Super yummy! The noodles were not too thin or too thick and tasty! The soup was spicy but not overwhelmingly so, it packed a tasty bite that made me want more but not so hot I wanted to stop eating it
Noodles with beef and spring onions - Fried noodles were delicious! There was a fairly decent amount of meat which is rare! But they also tasted really good! The noodles were a little but chewy still and perfectly done! The sauce was good for basic noodes!
Dumplings - We got the celery and the chives, these are filling but so tasty! A little bit soupy on the inside and so fresh! Delicious! I could just eat a plate of these!!
With everything on the menu coming in at around 40 dollars it was a super cheap meal and left 3 grown men saying how full they were, trying to convinve the other one to eat the last dumplings!
Would I recommend it? Hell yes! I'd be happy to go every day of the week!
