Da Nang Vietnamese Cuisine offers a range of affordable and signature Vietnamese dishes (both in traditional and fusion styles) that is comparatively much more choices than those generic Vietnamese restaurant. This was my first time to  visit the restaurant and it really worth to have its English name translating as “Vietnamese Cuisine”.

The first dish we ordered: Zha meat in the Vietnam style bread was tender and moist, cooked to perfection, with duck liver sauces added  a nice juicy kick and went well with the Zha meat.

Snacks: The texture of pork neck - a combination of fat, crunchy and richly flavour of meat - was also an appreciated dish that was cooked well.
The garlic chicken wings were a pleasant surprise, it was crisp on the outside and soft inside.

Recommended:

We had also ordered curry beef flank with garlic bread, was so delicious. Mild on spiciness but big on taste, the curry tasted authentically Vietnam with hint of coconut.
The mixed noodles soup was tender and delicious, and went very well with the white noodles, we all even finished drinking all the soup that with strong beef taste and seems no preservatives was added.

A light and refreshing dessert is the best way to end such a flavourful meal. We ordered a bowl of Vietnam-style jelly, which was cold, smooth and almost transparent in the shimmering light green jelly. The taste was not overly sweet, and a hint of lemongrass freshened up our palates. For the coconut rice with mango, can be a normal or traditional one as you should not expect much to it.

Overall, I enjoyed the meal with 4 of my Canadian friends. We’re happy that such an affordable, authentic spot opened in Kwun Tong.

Other Info. : P.S.: From the side chat with the restaurant staff, their chef is a Vietnamese with many years of experiences in catering industry. Then I realised that why I have a strong sense of differences between this Vietnamese cuisine with the other generic Vietnamese restaurant.
