A few weeks ago my buddy from Malaysia came to HK so I was taking him around. He is a Muslim so he has to eat "Halal" food, the word Halal means food that is permissible for Muslims. We went there on a Sunday night, the restaurant is located on the 11/F inside a commercial building, there was an Arabian giving out flyers downstairs so it wasn't too hard to find. We have been brought to the window seats, looking outside you can see the busy Hennesy Road and the Southern Playground of Wan Chai. Although the restaurant was pretty small, we like the Arabic decorations and the family restaurant atmosphere.

We were suggested to order the Set for Two by the manager, we are allowed to make our own combination from the menu, and we chose Hummus and Chicken Wings as appetizers, then Chicken Shiish Taook and Lamb Rack as the mains. The appetizers were served very quickly, the Hummus is a chickpea dip served with Arabic flat bread, the Hummus was delicious and creamy, their bread is very thin and tasted so so but it complimented the dip well.

Next it was the chicken wings, they were grilled nicely and it smells really great when it was put on our table, I love how the chef added lemon juice to the wings, they were yummy.

Then we got our main dishes like 10 minutes later, first it was the Chicken Shiish Taook which is grilled chicken leg cubes served with Arabic rice, the chicken was tender and juicy, and the flavor was great too, they used a lot of Arabic spices in the meat giving you a Middle Eastern flavor that is special and delicious.

And then we got the Lamb Rack, it was a generous portion of 4 big pieces of lamb chops served with the same Arabic rice, the lamb was cooked well-done but inside they were still moist, and the flavor was great too, the seasonings was spot on and it didn't overwhelm the taste of the lamb itself. I know most Chinese would cut off that thick piece of fat attached to the lamb chop but for me and my friend we love fatty food so that was totally fine with us. In addition the Arabic rice is actually the typical Thai rice however it was cooked with Arabic spices giving it a yellowish color, the taste was not spciy or strong it was in fact quite mild, so I think it would be suitable for most people.

We finished literally everything that was put on the table and we felt so satisfied , the portion of each dish is enough and the flavor was excellent, also their manager told us they don't put MSG in their food, so even though we had a lot of meat and some greasy dishes we felt we had a healthy meal! As a conclusion, it is good value to eat in OH FOOD for their  reasonable pricing and quality food and I would recommend anyone to try it.

Other Info. : I hope they would increase the options of desserts, there are only two items on the menu.
