Until now - on recommendation of a foodie friend I visited the newly opened In Beef潮牛腩in Wanchai. The seating was unpretentious yet comfortable, bright and clean. The service was friendly and professional.
Yet what really stood out was the food - each dish we ordered was impeccable. It’s obvious the chef has put much effort into choosing the ingredients - you can taste the freshness. The broth was just the right balance of tastes - not too sweet, not too salty. Not surprisingly, when I asked the manager later, he told me they don’t use any MSG. And true to his word, I didn’t feel thirsty after.
