A lovely Caesar salad. The combination of chickens and small cherry tomatoes are light and refreshing, given that we have picked the rather heavily fathored main. Particular appreciate how they add bretzel crumb, a traditional German style bread, instead of normal bread crumbs.
The pumpkin soup is warm and creamy, reminding me of the golden time when I was an exchange student in Germany as it tasted exactly the same as the home cooked one. The cheese bread is delicious when dipped in the pumpkin soup. I think the chef has added some sun dried tomato paste.
Simply signatory. Tummy hasn't seen a pork knuckle as big as this one in Hong Kong ever! Kudos are given to the fact that the pork knuckle is roasted, as opposed to deep fried. The pork kunckle skin is so crunchy and the meats beneath are tender. Tummy is personally a big fan of Sauerkraut and I would say this is very authentic. The fried potatoes are finger-lickingly good too! However, suggest the restaurant to include the healthier option of boiled potato too~
The staff wrongly served the drink (cold lemon tea instead of hot) but we are ok.
Despite the end of semi-buffet, heard from the staff that they are still promoting the beer pass to celebrate the Oktoberfest, where you can enjoy HK$50 discount after enjoying 5 beers in their chain restaurants. 🍻🍻
