Sogo used to have a Korean takeaway place that served delicious Korean take away and my favorite was their gimbap as they were made to order. Suddenly they closed! I was sad. It was the best gimbap takeaway in town. Then they opened another one in the shop next to it but it was terrible. But now ... a new Korean takeaway shop took it's place. Zan Chee. A Korean takeaway shop that has three other locations. And now they have one inside Sogo. The food stall is smaller than their other shops as it's
The food stall is smaller than their other shops as it's part of the grocery store area. But they still have all their items from the menu all displayed for you.
Menu is in English, Chinese and Korean. There is no 10% service charge. Along with cooked food they also have raw meat as well so you can take them home to make your own Korean BBQ. There is a lot to choose.
I decided to get a bulgolgi gimbap ($58). It was a pretty good. Not as good as the shop previously but quite good. The rice was not dry. The meat was well seasoned. The vegetables were also seasoned as well and crunchy.
Definitely will be back and try other items as it's easily on my way home.
