Instead of the proper Chiu Chow dishes, the Cantonese fried dishes were more outstanding at Sun Chuen Fat. Their lol sui sauce tasted too Maggi which I didn't like much.

However their lamb pot was really delicious. Most lamb pieces came with bones, which was the essence of a lamb pot, because the meat is the most smooth and tender along the ribs and bones. Sadly nowadays in some restaurants they only use boneless lamb meat.

There were also beancurd sheets, bamboo shoots, shiitake and water chestnuts in the pot, which had all absorbed the lamb and preserved tofu flavors. The lamb pot also came with a dish of cabbage.

Fair price, friendly owner, convenient location. Would visit again for other Cantonese dishes.
