Today was my second time eating at the bistro. I had the mussels with fries and a super refreshing lime soda. I was surprised, because the portion was really big. The broth and the mussels were a perfect match and I was tempted to eat the entire broth after finishing the mussels. The rich taste of butter, wine and the sweet flavour of the mussels were perfectly balanced.
The fries were crunchy and well seasoned. The inside was fluffy and light, just like good French fries should be.
The lime soda was really good as well. Be aware that the syrup is at the bottom of the glass, so it’s better to stir the drink before trying. The drink was slightly sweet, but not too sweet. The flavours of fresh lime and mint made the soda very refreshing.
I also really liked the friendly and attentive staff. The service was fast and very polite.
I will definitely come back and try more dishes and drink another lime soda!
