But as we had arrived early, we were given a table quickly. It did, however, fill up fast. The restaurant is spacious. You don't feel cramped. There is bench-like seating in the middle. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. What they serve is various Japanese style udon and rice sets along with snacks.

Boyfriend ordered the Cutlet Shrimp with Snapper Soup Udon ($78). It came with three crispy fried shrimp. The shrimp was fresh and firm. The coating, not too thick but very crispy. There was side of salad that was alright. The soup was a rich fish broth. It said it used snapper meat.

As it was a holiday, I ordered a Queen Crab Leg with Snapper Soup Udon ($128).  My original thought of a whole crab was dashed as it had sold out for the day. They have lobster but I was more keen on crab that day. It came with pretty much half the crab! That was a lot! The meat was sweet and fresh. Worthy of making a mess while cracking open the shell.

The soup was also a fish soup but it seemed more stronger in taste than boyfriends. Maybe it was due to it arriving on top of a lighted candle and thus, concentrated the soup? Or perhaps some of the crab flavored the soup? We aren't sure but it definitely tasted stronger.

The udon was smooth and chewy. Quite good.

Price was not overly expensive for what we received. Portions were generous and food was delicious. They are a bit too eager to take away your finished dishes. Like literally, I put down my chopstick and wanted to wipe my mouth but the staff had already taken everything away including my napkin! Probably due to the number of people waiting outside for a table they need to rush people off. Would be back if in the area.
