Moving from UK to HK I missed my beloved Spanish food ....so my friend took me to Taverna del mar to reminisce my love once again...and I can defo say, I am IN LOVE!! I absolutely love the Ambience and setting of this place. It's cosy and romantic, a place I can have long chats and catch up with my Friends and romantic dinner with my partner. Most importantly the staffs are friendly and the owner is so warm and cheerful. I'm so impressed with her effort explaining the menu to her customers and smiling all the time!
Starters we had croquettes & calamari with home made garlic mayonnaise - So garlicky and creamy......finished the entire dip myself! Opps!!
Main course we had seafood paella- fresh seafood with succulent squids and juicy prawns AND the rice was so flavoursome!!
Roasted crispy pork & potatoe wedges was heaven! Crispy skin and the meat was so soft and perfectly marinated.
Lamb skewers drizzled with olive oil and Herb sauce- so tender!

People who wants delicious authentic food and great ambience! My tummy went home feeling very satisfied
