Kennedy Town has slowly been gaining a reputation as a bastion of food innovation. And I don't

doubt that for a bit. I have been dining in some of Kennedy Town’s restaurants

for dinners and I must say it's quite an experience, especially for a non-local.

And for those of you searching for a culinary experience like no other, look no

further than Waffling Beans.

Located just two streets ahead of MTR Exit B, Waffling Beans is the brainchild of Anthony Chow. The

decor allows the simplistic beauty of the food to really shine, though beauty

isn’t the only thing bringing folks to Lune. The restaurant buzzed with excited

energy and was comfortably full with seemingly satisfied patrons.

I visited WB with my friends and we ordered a bunch of delicious dishes. Among the drinks, Aloe Vera

Iced Lemon Tea was my favorite. It has a refreshing feel to it and really

complements the main course dishes. The amount of sweetness and saltiness is

just accurate and you can only enjoy the drink. This is a kind of drink that

will relieve you of your tensions and energizes you because of its soothing

quality.

There were a few dessert, but I went with a dessert called 7 Heaven: a rich and interesting combination of chocolate sauce, strawberries, waffles and vanilla topping. I was amazed at how well each complemented the other and thoroughly enjoyed the dish. It is priced at 75$, but according to me the price is justified. The dish literally transports you to Heaven. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dish.

Though I would love to be selfish and keep Waffling Beans all to myself, the quality of the dishes is too

good to stay hidden for long. There’s no doubt a table at Waffling Beans will

quickly become the hottest reservation in K-town.
