After some intensive retail therapy, I decided to have a late afternoon tea for my dinner. I was attracted by the menu's dessert as both said it was "Limited".However, both desserts were just too sweet. My taste buds were practically paralyzed by them. The Ice-cream French Toast had too much syrup and I can barely taste the tea flavor of the ice-cream. As you can see, there was too much syrup in the dish. I think they could have added much less or simply serve it at the side so the customer can
Just when I thought the first dessert was sweet, the Tieguanyin Chocolate Lava Bun was even more so. It was described by the menu as a mixture of tea flavor and chocolate but it was simply chocolate and it was extremely sweet.
Maybe their savories are better.
