Dinner at Rikyuan, made a reservation a day before. Place was not busy as expected when I arrived.Ordered a sashimi platter which was pretty disappointing. -> Sea urchin tasted strange, am never a big fan of sea urchin but i think the taste was eerie....-> some of the fish slices were still covered in ice ...-> scallops were quite good, tasted well with the hint of lime-> were only given a tiny bit of wasabiThe cooked items were much better-> grilled beef tongue was okay-

Dinner at Rikyuan, made a reservation a day before. Place was not busy as expected when I arrived.

Ordered a sashimi platter which was pretty disappointing.
-> Sea urchin tasted strange, am never a big fan of sea urchin but i think the taste was eerie....
-> some of the fish slices were still covered in ice ...
-> scallops were quite good, tasted well with the hint of lime
-> were only given a tiny bit of wasabi

The cooked items were much better
-> grilled beef tongue was okay
-> chicken wings stuffed with cod roe and the eel with sticky rice were the best dishes
-> Tried the egg wrapped rice, the taste cannot go too wrong, but the egg was put on top of the rice and not wrapped around the rice!

On the whole, cooked items were much much better than the sashimi. The cooked items would be much better if they were served hotter. I wasn't sure it's related to them turning the air conditioner stronger during the later part of the dinner.
