House of Jasmine is one of my favorite restaurants in the past but I will black list this restaurant from now on. It was a birthday dinner for my friend. Reservation was made one week before and i requested to reserve their famous Napoleon dessert. They also promised to include a candle during serving.On the night of the dinner, everything was good in the beginning, at least we don't need to wait for the seat. However, we had to wait for some dishes for over an hour! We ordered 2 appetizers
It was a birthday dinner for my friend. Reservation was made one week before and i requested to reserve their famous Napoleon dessert. They also promised to include a candle during serving.
On the night of the dinner, everything was good in the beginning, at least we don't need to wait for the seat. However, we had to wait for some dishes for over an hour! We ordered 2 appetizers and they could arrive within 10 mins. For other dishes, some of them arrived after an hour. Service was bad probably due to insufficient staff. All of them are lack of smile and passion to serve customers!
Dish wise, we ordered crispy pig and it was so salty!! Other dishes are only so so and not hot enough when serving. Finally the Napoleon dessert was there but without candle!!! It still looks good but not tasty anymore! If someone has tried their Napoleon before, you should know that it was full of fruit in many layers. Now, the fruit has to be searched somewhere in the middle and what you eat are only the pastry!
All of us decided not to go there anymore!! It was a disappointing dinner!!
