From the outside all good. A beautiful roaster adorns the front window and the interior is well laid out. I ordered a latte to drink in but they give me a takeaway instead. They did replace the drink quickly, but it was disappointing not to be asked whether I wanted to dine in or take away. I then enquired about beans to takeaway, given they had Yirgacheffe in the counter. But no. They didn't have those to sell. There were a range of others but no prices and when I enquired I didn't really get very far. A genuine lack of interest in what the customer is asking for.

The latte was slightly bitter and needed sugar to bring it to life.

As a final point, it would have been nice to have the drink sent to the table. But they rely on you to collect from the counter. A small thing, but one that makes a difference when you're paying $42 a pop.

In the crowded market here you need to get the basics right and unfortunately this place did not.
