Disappointing cake

A friend told me that the Dark Chocolate Cake at McCafe was really good, but it was sold out every time I went. Finally I bought the cake today with high expectation.The cake has 3 layers of sponge with chocolate filling in between. The sponge cake is very dry and the texture has changed. The chocolate is just so-so. Overall, the cake is not fresh, and tastes as if it has been kept for a long time. I feel very disappointed about the cake.
