This was our first and last time to try Dessert Gallery. 朱古力榛子 HKD65:
It is a very normal chocolate dessert - The chocolate is not rich enough in comparison to other pastries shops.
Chocolate Melting Heart HKD52:
We are all disappointed with the chocolate cake. The cake is too thick and not smooth enough. For the molten chocolate, it is not melted at all. In comparison, the melting heart in "Sense" is much better. For the Kiwi (fruit selection), there are only few slices.
Spicy popcorn Sande HKD48:
Sande is normal ice-cream; therefore, it is as normal as expected. The spicy popcorn...it is too spicy and does not match with ice-cream very well.
Side Story:
While we were waiting for a table for 3 until we were informed that the next available table would be offered for us, a group of 7 people arrived and got a "fast pass" from a staff. Then, the next available table was offered to the group of 7 people!!! When we asked the staff about the arrangement, their explanation was that the group came back after they left!!! However, according to their rule, ticket that has passed for 5 tables is not valid. When the group of 7 (ticket number 45) was offered with table, ticket number 53 had already been called!!! What an unfair system!!!!
Considering the food quality and tables allocation arrangement, we will NEVER visit the shop again!!!!
