I have been meaning to try Eric's for some time now as Maison Kayser is highly regarded and has outstanding reputation as a boulangerie. On this day I finally had the opportunity.
When I walked in and I felt like a kid in a candy store with the decent choice of bread/pastries. Eventuallly I choose the chocolate and orange Danish and an iced coffee. One bite and I was disappointed, the Danish was heavy and not what I expected. Danish Pastries should be light and flaky, this was not and there was not enough buttery taste. As for the iced coffee, there was a sour taste to the blend. Overall, as the title of this review says 'disappointed'. I will visit again for the bread however I will stay away from the pastries and coffee.
