I am writing this to express my disappointment with the portion size and quality of meats used for the mix grill. For an extremely overpriced $288, all that came on the plate was a 3-inch sausage, a lambchop that looked like half of it had been cut off - making it extremely small, an overcooked and tiny steak, one strip of bacon, a pork chop as thin as 10 sheets of paper, and a big piece of liver (which I know is the most inexpensive meat in the mix...is this why the liver piece was so big?). There may have been other meats on the plate, but they were definitely not memorable. Even more outrageous was the fact that amongst the two mixed grills offered, they only offered 1 bowl of pepper sauce. The second bowl of pepper sauce had to be requested!!
I guess $288 for a mixed grill only warrants 1/2 a portion of gravy at this establishment.
We each had a bowl of baked onion soup to start. I have nothing negative to say about that other than the actual soup was a little watered down.
I very rarely write such negative reviews because they are so often ignored in Hong Kong, but I feel compelled to do so in this situation because of the huge gap between my expectations / reputation of the restaurant and what was actually served.
