Ordered 1 lunch set - Sichuan Spicy Spaghetti Bolognaise (四川擔擔肉醬意粉)+ lemon tea) and 1 a la carte Grilled Chicken with rice and HK Style Curry Sauce.

The spaghetti bolognaise: tasted ok, came out / on the table hot (in temperature), however, no “Sichuan” taste and was not remotely spicy. Also quite oily.

The grilled chicken rice: dish is served in a manner that is very different than the picture in the menu - whilst we understand there will certainly be differences and the menu will mostly appear better, it is very different and menu sets the wrong expectations. Chicken tasted ok, rice was mushy and not hot, curry sauce tasted good, but similarly not hot.

Service: receptionist was lovely, pleasant and helpful. Overall definitely under staffed; some wait staff were ok and some were less so - possibly driven by being under resourced, overall service was lack and slow.

Would’ve had a better experience at a regular cha chaan teng, but I guess that’s the cost of Pacific Place rent!

Total: $360
