I visited this restaurant multiple times in the past when it was based in Isquare and it was one of the best.... though.... this has totally changed now?!? My initial thought when entering the restaurant was it was spacious and quiet with tables being a huge distance apart - perfect especially with COVID. There were only two waiters working and hence the service wasn’t the best... Though main complaint was the food. I can’t think of any positive comment apart from one waiter which was doing his job professionally.

1. The dinner menu only had a handful of selections, most of which they tried to force you to go for the set menu containing abalone and sea cucumber - not my cup of tea. Luckily the waiter was nice enough to offer certain dishes off the menu.

2. All the food came cold, even with the veg being reheated it was warm 🤷🏻‍♂️

3. I ordered a sweet and sour pork, the flavour was not bad.... BUT they should have renamed it to sweet and sour fat as there wasn’t a piece of meat - it was mainly pork fat 🤮

4. I ordered a lotus leaf wrapped rice... the rice was cooked as expected but the lotus leaf was raw and no attempts to even steam the leaf for the fragrance🤮- the taste was weird having a raw leaf in cooked fried rice.

Being a restaurant with not many customers on the night I wasn’t expecting the chef to take shortcuts. Better to stay away from this restaurant until after Covid 🤷🏻‍♂️
