Admittedly I was feeling anxious the entire time because there were just so many dogs everywhere- and you know how excited dogs can get when they see other dogs. (Can you tell I’m not a dog person?) I was hoping to have a relaxing Sunday morning but instead I couldn’t wait to finish my food and leave ASAP.

The food was decent and price was reasonable for Sheung Wan. Couldn’t help but notice my cup of Americano was rather small. On the other hand, the portion of the scrambled egg was huge, it was nice and fluffy too.

The standout dish of the day was definitely the lemon tart. I love lemon desserts and boy was this one good. Definitely one of the top lemon tarts I’ve had in HK. I appreciate how they bake it before serving, so that it’s slightly burnt and caramelised. It tastes amazing.

By the time I left, all the seats were taken. Many foreigners and westernised folk here, so you can expect lots of small talk and chit chat from stranger to stranger, dog owner to dog owner. Nice busy murmur throughout the cafe, though with the close tables and constantly roaming dogs, it can be a bit stressful. Probably more enjoyable to visit on a weekday with less people.
