Shatin doesn't have many dessert places so I thought I'd give this one a try. Given the latest hit of Taiwanese 綿花冰 in this summer, it is a pretty competitive market out there and I think shops can't just take advantage of the hit without really thinking about what makes customers come back.We ordered: 1. Shatin doesn't have many dessert places so I thought I'd give this one a try. Given the latest hit of Taiwanese 綿花冰 in this summer, it is a pretty competitive market out there and I think shops can't just take advantage of the hit without really thinking about what makes customers come back.

We ordered:

1. Milk ice + 紅豆 + 3色QQ (w condensed milk) $28
2. Mango ice + 黑白珍珠 + 椰果 (w passion fruit sauce) $28

What's positive:

* Not many other dessert place in Shatin Plaza so this is a good after-dinner spot
* Milk flavour is milky and smooth

What's negative:

* Mango ice doesn't have mango taste at all, doesn't taste like it's made from fresh mangoes and probably just flavorings
* Toppings are more suitable for adding to drinks than dessert. They just give you a little and those 黑白珍珠 and QQ stuff really doesn't match with the ice.
*Need to add $5 for fresh fruits and you can't replace 'toppings' with fruit.
*The air con is super cold and you want to run out of the shop right after you finish the ice
* Seating is a bit uncomfortable and it's hard to walk in between the space
* There are 2 doors at the shop and customers would wait on either side of the shop

$28 for one ice is not cheap at all and I'd recommend the shop to try using the fresh fruits to make the ice so it's more juicy. Fruits should also become part of the selection instead of requesting extra cost....just my thought.
