I finally had the chance to meet godbro XO's honey! Actually, XO's honey found out that we went on a couple Chiuchow foodie adventures and recommended that we add another new restaurant near her office to our adventures!Godbro XO took the MTR to the restaurant since Tai Ping Kitchen is right next to the North Point MTR station, so he took the MTR from his office in Wanchai, but since I went from home in Happy Valley, MTR is not a convenient choice for me. However, there's a a bus that runs
Godbro XO took the MTR to the restaurant since Tai Ping Kitchen is right next to the North Point MTR station, so he took the MTR from his office in Wanchai, but since I went from home in Happy Valley, MTR is not a convenient choice for me. However, there's a a bus that runs straight from Happy Valley to North Point landing me a block and a half from the restaurant!
Tai Ping Kitchen is setup like a char charn tang, but it is brightly-lit and tidy. Like some char charn tangs, the utensils and napkins were put away in a drawer in the table, and there are menus available on the table. While we were discussing on what to order, the waitress saw that we were flipping the plastic menus back and forth multiple times, so she provided us with another clear folder menu with pictures and more food items. From the clear folder, we picked the following four dishes.
Soft-boiled Eggs with Chinese Liquor On-Top

XO asked me if I ate intestines before he ordered the Marinated Main Dish with Goose Slices and Pork Intestines. I told him that I've never had it before and don't mind trying.

Thanks to the recommendation by godbro's honey, we discovered this char charn tang style restaurant that served high quality drunken dishes! Since my brother was working overtime and couldn't join us for dinner, I ordered a couple dishes to take away for him!
