Whenever i have craving for durians at Hong Kong, i will think of Durian King at Yau Ma Tei. Their durians were sourced directly from Malaysia as they have a durian farm there as well. As it was durian season now, they have started to sell durian mooncake as well. Even though it was just a small stall, it offered snacks, pizza and drinks etc.
Mao shan wang snow cake - This is one of their best selling snacks. Magazine articles claimed that they sold 300 pieces of D24 snow cake daily. The durian meat inside was thick and creamy, while the snow cake was baked till soft and crispy on the outside.
Soursop drink - This drink was not easily found in Hong Kong, as this fruit was from South east Asia. The owner told me that this drink was only available in their stall. This drink was sour and sweet, refreshing as well.
Mao shan wang mooncake - Since it was Mid Autumn festival soon, I decided to buy a box of durian mooncake to try. The box consisted of 6 mini pieces and have 3 pricing right now, depending on which period to purchase. The skin was thin and soft, with real durian meat in it.
