Finally got the chance to try out Chutney! This tandoor house serves Indian cuisine with a modern twist and is a perfect spot for any sort of occasion. 🇮🇳 Pic 1️⃣: Malai Paneer Tikka - $188 hkd 🧀 — Quite an interesting dish if you’re a lover of cheese. — Quite an interesting dish if you’re a lover of cheese. This is basically a roasted malai paneer served with roasted bell peppers and onions. The cheese was pretty creamy and had a good savouriness to it, but it was quite a dry dish in my opinion. It went nicely with the beetroot chutney on the side as the sweetness helped balance out the flavours.
Pic 2️⃣: Chutney Butter Chicken - $198 hkd 🥘🐔
— The butter chicken was packed with flavour and had a silky smooth texture that went perfectly with the naan. It wasn’t overly spicy but still had all the aromatic spices in it. The chicken was pretty tender but lacked seasoning on its own.
Pic 3️⃣: Raj Kachori - $138 hkd
— Really nicely plated and the dish itself really pops with colour. A really refreshing starter to kick off the meal as the flavours really prepare your palate for the richer flavours to come. The dish combines mint, chopped fruit mixed with tamarind sauce and yoghurt to give it a light acidity. I personally thought the pastry was a little bit hard but the dish did have a nice contrast of textures.
Pic 4️⃣: Garlic Naan - $42 hkd
— Naan was pretty good, made fresh to order so it was served nice and hot to the table. The texture was nice and soft, whilst the garlic taste was fragrant. Great with any type of curry.
📍Ambiance: Interior is stunning
