A good day starts with a good breakfast and holiday is the day for breakfast outside. Coffee Art is quite a satisfying location in E Plaza, Kwun Tong, especially if industrial buildings are not your choice. No service charge. It was a one-man band. Contacting with the man from making order to paying bills as well as hearing his cooking sound made me feel warm.
Dislike:
One thing which could be improved was the seating arrangement- most areas were ‘public’ (everyone could see you eating from the outside) or sofa benches without backrest. There were only few private tables with backrest which were already occupied. Cozy style was expected instead.
Comments on food:
The mini all day breakfast ($34)- mushrooms, fried eggs, honey toast, and salad with sesame dressing. Hot youzi honey for a healthy morning. Served just after ready, the four things were all satisfying.
As a picky foodie, I would appreciate two changes. First is the use of divided dishes which could avoid the mixing of sauce. Now the sweet and savory sauce is unpleasantly mixed a bit on the undivided dish. Second is the provision of choices of toast flavor. Some people like me prefer not to have anything sweet as breakfast and butter could be a handy alternative.
Despite the two suggestions, food quality was actually high.
