Believe it or not, I reckon the last time I ate here was more than 20 years ago, may be even more. I can't recall much from then except its chicken was ok-good - so this visit in early July for dinner can count as my no.1 visit! 金牌香妃雞 - 6.8/10 When this arrived, I instantly noticed it carried so much 葱油 and Garlicky flavour - a very Cantonese beloved execution style will virtually any food! sense and its aromatic, but my major problem with this chicken concerns 2 things: 1) This was just way too salty, it literally made the top lining of my mouth started peeling off in protest... unbelievable 2) The chicken meat was quite tough, probably beyond normally acceptable. It was also quite expensive at around $120 for half a chicken. As for chicken taste? I don't think you'll get anything other than Spring Onion taste. Even the sauce on the side was the same taste.

This arrived much later and as incredulous as it seems, this was even much more saltier than the Chicken. I can tell you now, my tolerance of salt is really high already, its certainly higher than my tolerance of sugar - but this was around 300% too salty and my mouth lining was forming 'ripples' by now. The plain rice we ordered couldn't alleviate the problem. The assorted vegetables including Fungus and other vegies was like eating sodium nitrate, the fish cake texture meanwhile was ok but lacked fish contribution, it was quite dought. Nevertheless this was left unfinished.
BY THIS STAGE, ME AND MY FRIEND WEREN'T FULL BUT WE HAD NO MORE CONFIDENCE TONIGHT. DON'T RECALL WHERE WE WENT FOR SUPPER. OVERALL - THIS WASN'T BAD AT ALL, IF IT WASN'T SEASONED SO WRONGLY! ITS ALSO VERY EXPENSIVE HERE.
