I spotted this restaurant from far as it was all purple. And the diners going in also wore purple! The name? Purple Cafe.Inside was all purple. There walls were purple. There were purple flowers. The area for selfies was also purple in color. The place was full. I guess they, like me, also heard about the cafe all in one shade. The menu (also purple in color) was in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. When we arrived they served food from a lunch menu. They also have a la carte snacks and drinks.

Boyfriend ordered a Purple Potato Frappe ($45) because he said ... it's purple! And purple it was. The nice icy creamy drink with chunks of soft purple potato on top to chew on.

I had the Super Fruit Tea ($48). Lots of fresh fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, lemon and orange slices were found. The tea was not too sweet but fragrant.

Boyfriend ordered the Mentaiko Pasta with Crab Stick ($88). There was a piece of crispy taro chip on top to complete the purple theme. The pasta was cooked well. Lots of mentaiko found throughout. Very buttery and rich.

I had the Spaghetti Carbonara ($88). Super cheesy, it also had a piece of crispy taro chip. The pasta was cooked well and there were smokey bits bacon and mushroom, too.

The food was decent. This is definitely a place for people who like the color purple. And it appeared there were a lot of people as it was full on weekday afternoon. What I found most amusing is that the closest MTR station is also purple in color. And the words "Prince Edward" in Cantonese sounds like "too purple". It's definitely a purple place.
