Recently re-visited Stockton Bar and Restaurant and had the opportunity to try their cocktails, scotch egg and chicken burger. Again a very satisfying experience. Let's start with the cocktails. We ordered two cocktails , FEAR AND LOATHING and CURSE OF LOND, both were expertly crafted. The cocktails were beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The chicken burger, it was a true highlight of the meal. The burger was juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. The chicken was flavorful and accompanied by fresh toppings and condiments that complemented the overall taste. The bun was soft and held the burger together well. The portion size was generous, and the side of fries that accompanied the burger was crispy and delicious.
Another highlight was the duck scotch egg.
It was beautifully presented, with a golden-brown crust and a perfectly cooked egg nestled inside. The outer layer was crispy and flavorful, while the meat was tender and succulent. The yolk of the egg was perfectly runny, creating a luscious and creamy texture when combined with the meat.
The dim lighting and comfortable seating create a cozy and relaxed environment. The staff members were attentive and friendly, ensuring that we had an enjoyable dining experience. Would definitely return again!
