We went to Figaro on a Friday night. it was absolutely empty on our arrival which I always feel is a bad sign and so you can only imagine my delight when they turned out one fantastic dish after another at incredible prices. We had the clams, done with parsley and garlic similar to escargot. they were absolutely delicious and very fresh - always important when it comes to shell fish. We had the chicken which was remarkably tender and moist. We had the pasta pillows which came in an foamed cream

We had the pasta pillows which came in an foamed cream which was so light and tasty. We had the resotto and the scallops. I could go on and on. Just so fresh, delicious, and authentic. The bread was fresh. Only negative is that they didn't stock salted butter - allow me to decide my salt intake, please. The whole meal for 2 came to HK$1600 which was incredible when you consider our chosen wine was HK$1050. The service was casual but efficient. Its not the best venue in the world, with the downstairs having a late night bar feel more than a restaurant. But the food is a standout. I can't understand how it isn't better known. I will be back.
